ARDF Medical mobile team doing consultations to Refugees and returnees affected by the ongoing Sudan Crisis. The teams deployed in both transit and border sites of Renk and Melut Counties. During the consultations, these vulnerable populations is screened of Non- communicable diseases, diarrhoeal diseases, malaria, Pneumonia etc. Psychosocial support services are also being addressed by our Protection specialists in coordination with GBV field staffs and caseworker. The team comprises of Clinical Officer, Nurse, Midwife, Vaccinator, Community Health worker and Counsellor.

ARDF providing health services in hard to reach areas of South Sudan. Areas affected by floods and road inaccessibility doesn’t hinder ARDF to reach the vulnerable populations with essential drugs and experienced medical team.

ADRF conducts BHI training to Boma Health Workers. ARDF is supporting 140 BHWs and Supervisors, Melut has 51 BHWs and 5 Supervisors, while Renk has 76 BHWs and 7 Supervisors.

ARDF conducts Focus Group discussion with the community at field level to identify humanitarian needs. ARDF Supports the participation of all affected and at –risk populations in intervention design and feedback through Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) to Sensitise the communities on their role in intervention design

Social mobilisation activities conducted in Akoka County through organising traditional dances to create awareness on the importance of COVID-19 vaccination.

ARDF data clerks worked hand in hand with the community stakeholders to identify and register eligible members for the vaccination exercise including persons with co- morbidities and the elderly.

ARDF conducted a Baseline Cross-Sectional Household Survey for implementation of Integrated Child Health Programme through Boma Health Initiative in Aweil South County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, South Sudan.

ARDF conducts community engagement meetings in its areas of operations both in Upper Nile and Northern Bahr El Ghazal states. Since the BHI is just a recent development and is still picking up, there has been a number of concerns at community levels ranging from credibility of the Boma Health Workers, the age categories focused on, the limited morbidities managed as well as the limited medications being offered, among others. ARDF is engaging in communication for development (C4D) activities through the participation of the community actors.
